A Chilly Morning

It was 37 degrees when we left the house this morning...later it was 69...definitely a two outfit day.

Chilly but happy.

We had a great Sunday morning bike ride.

A Few Photos From the Hike.

Turkey vultures? Geese flying south? A UFO?

A Saturday To Remember.

Jennifer had to work today, so the girls and I decided to do something fun. Our friend, Courtney, put together a Konza Prairie hike/picnic so we thought it would be interesting to get there by bike. The ride was about 20 miles and both girls did great...granted, Rachel helped more than Maggie.

Heading out.

We made it...the Konza Prairie.

Are Jack-o-latnerns Really Green?

I found Rachel's favorite Halloween decoration in the attic yesterday and gave the girls the camera.

This might be Maggie's first picture where her entire hand isn't covering the lens.

T.G.I.F.

The week ended well with a chilly ride to school. Mittens and gloves are the required dress code for early morning rides now. When we got back home the new sleeping bags showed up. Fall camping here we come.

Ready for Friday.

O la la.

The new REI kindercone sleeping bags...one in pink and one in peacock blue.

Grocery Shopping

Sure it takes about an hour longer when Margaret controls the cart, but who cares. She has a great time.

Off to School

I went down to Wichita to hang out with Mom and Dad, but the commute to school didn't change.

Loading up Margaret.

Nice pose, Rachel.

Raining Day Monday

Our morning commute to school was too rainy for the bikes so we did the next best thing.

Are you ready?

On our way.

Scenes From the Road

A few pictures from the trip home this morning.

Margaret taking it easy.

A small slow moving friend we helped across
the highway.

An even smaller and slower moving friend we
stopped to look at.

Chores, Chores, Chores

We went down to Grandma Susie's and Papa's for the weekend and had a great time. Dad put us all to work however.

Great work Margaret.

Random Photos From Friday

Just a few photos from our day. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Another great photo by Rachel.

Jennifer had the day off so we hopped on the tandem
to take Rachel to school.

the front porch the past few days.

Fall is on the way. From the top
