The Crown Jewel

I have coveted the Schwinn Twinn for a long time and Monday I stumbled upon one through Craig's List in Wichita. I called the guy and after some story telling by him I purchased the bike. Fortunately, the bike was a few blocks from my parent's house so my dad went over and rode it home. The back story, according to Ray, the seller, is his sister bought the bike in 1970, rode it a few times and stuck it in her garage. She eventually moved to Wichita and continued to not ride it and, sadly, had a medical issue and her brother Ray was forced to sell her belongings. It is in incredible shape and the only thing I had to do was adjust the brake and raise my seat. I might need to raise my handlebars also. We are happy to give the bike a second life and look forward to making great memories on her.
